Our wellbeing is the very essence of our emotional state, physical health, resilience, happiness, and accomplishments. Throughout our life we continually adjust to changing environments, and we constantly adapt to differing roles in response to situations. Our past experiences help to shape who we become, how we relate to others and how we cope with life changes, anxiety and stress. As life is not fixed, neither is our wellbeing; it fluctuates, reflecting the state of our mental health at any given time. During our life, many things can impact positively on us, but many things can also adversely affect our wellbeing and mental health. It is, therefore, essential that we become proactive and nurture our wellbeing to ensure it remains at an optimum at all time.
